Well, Id really like to play this game but every time I launch it on loading maps it just says: Timed out and then I rage and quit the game, sometimes it quits right away, sometimes it just crashes like so that I can only see my explorer but destkop is black. and on Task Manager endind task wont do nothing or it will tell me that access is denied so I need to restart my pc every time.

If not, then becoming an administrator would be the first thing we would have to accomplish.

Go to Start > Control Panel > User Accounts

There you'll see a picture with your account name. Under the account name will say what type of account it is.

I know that I am the administrator, and never had problems like I have now

that log seems like its missing some info.
type net_log 3 in the console (~ key) and then post the log again after trying.
Also what is your router / ISP ?
Are you using wireless?

ah, everytime I exit the game it still runs on task manager and when I try to end it, it tells me that access is denied, and here is the new log: http://pastebin.com/E3Cyn2M2

to kill the NS2 process try using the Processes tab on Taskmanager instead and find NS2.exe, then end the process from there. That one kills the process and should work.

Also what is the rest of your hardware, just an OS version doesn't help us much ;)

^^ well this was the way I was doing it, trying to kill it from the process but tells me that access denied, its been running on backround whole day and my hardware:

Windows 7 64 bit

6GB ram

Graphics card:amd HD6770

CPU : amd FX-6100

and im not using wifi.

Are you keeping a virus-scanner active in the background?
If so, disable it.

Also, try to see whether Steam is still synchronizing your game-files after you quit NS2.

Sounds like task manager is not being run with admin privileges. Next time it happens try this to run task manager and see if your still getting the access denied problems.
