mouse disconnecting

Having problems with my mouse randomly disconnecting while playing NS2. It only happens while i have NS2 launched or while in game in no other game does it happen. Any Thoughts? Ive tried updating my drivers and changing the port i had it plugged into

    Need lots more information from you to better help ya :)
    Like the model of your mouse and driver version, as well as system specs and OS etc.
    Check the stickied posts for details on how to post a log.txt and dxdiag report as well.
