so the bacon thing changed from resurrecting people from death to live, i see the wiki wrote that Distress Beacon
Teleports all marines to the Observatory. Respawns one dead Marine per Infantry Portal.

suppose i put one ip in every tech point. when i distress in marine start, do the ips in other rooms count?

I'm pretty sure they removed the beaconing allowing for an instant respawn.

I like infantry portals more than I like bacon... bacon is good but I have to be in the mood for it... seems to attract skulks pretty well too.

Yes, the distress beacon resurrects the same number of dead players as your total infantry portals AND spawns all alive players in the beaconed room... like a meat grinder for a pack of bacon-hungry skulks!
