Sound Problems

I am having a weird problem. When in game, if my crosshair is pointed at level or the lower section of the screen, the sound is very muffled for my movement and any sounds my guns make. When I look at the higher portions of screen, the sound is normal. Any one else having issues like this. I tried reinstalling the game and nothing has helped.
