Help us help you :)
So anyone who is experiencing crashes and is up to the task of capturing your crash for debugging/fixing in future patches, you can capture exactly whats causing the crash by making a recording. You see, where a log file may fall short explaining whats going on, a demo records every single thing occurring in the engine, to include network issues, so its the most thorough way of debugging an issue!
BUT IT NEEDS TO BE AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE - ideally under 5 minutes.. but under 10 may work too. Limitations of the demo system doesnt allow for fast forward currently, and we cant expect the devs to spend 30 minutes per demo obviously.

Type "record" in the console (~ key) without the quotations. Optionally you can add a name to it like, "record mycrashdemo" to make it easier to find later.

Make sure to start this command when you are in the main menu, before joining a game.

Reproduce the crash and then you'll find your demo in the %appdata%/natural selection 2/ folder (windows key + R then type %appdata%)

Zip up the demo and host it somewhere on the web like fileswap etc.

Then post a link to it in here for the developers to debug!

Thanks for your help!
