    Once you launch the game press alt + enter to switch to windowed mode. Could be that resolution.

    If that doesn't fix it, have you tried reinstalling directx with dxsetup.exe located in the redist folder?

    edit: Nvm it started working after the 10th or so restart. thanks anayway.
