5.9.58.119:27025
5.9.58.119:27035

And none of themm appears in Server Browser.

First ist 24 Slot, 2nd 12 Slot and 3rd private 24 Slot with password.

Is my IP Blacklisted or sth else or why the hell does none of the appear today?

Dude i cant really understand what a tip should that be ????????

1) There cant be a problem with ports, otherwise my kollege cant see all servers in server browser
2) There cant be a problem with ports, otherwise u cant be able to join all 3 servers
3) I use different ports for every server (each has 2 ports) and each server uses a different config

So please tell me more then just linking to the wiki.

Assuming you've given the +1 query ports access on TCP and UDP in whatever firewall package your server has, as you've indeed describe, then i'll chime in and say;

I'm running four servers instances on the same box, and I likewise have a great deal of trouble seeing all four returned on the same server browser refresh. This tends to be fixed for a short peroid when I'm doing my daily reboots to freshen them up.

I'm assuming this is still a little problem with the way queries are handled or how the master server returns results as i've spent hours (well, days actually) trying to debug this and haven't found a reliable way to re-create the issue in other server environments. So instead of offering a fix, I'm going to recommend you try Nanogrid or the stand alone server browser to confirm that indeed all your servers are publicly viewable, and in the meantime, if you need to connect to your servers just type connect <ip:port> in your console.

I figured, but it's always best to give as much information as possible for the other readers that may or may not know how!

Then it would be better this way x)

1) Press "^" to open Console
2) Type "connect" and then use this Mask [IP]:[PORT] as parameter

Example:

connect 5.9.58.119:27015

I ran into this problem too. At first I had only forwarded port 27015+16 tcp and udp .. Server worked and was joinable, but did not appear in serverlist. Then I put the server in the DMZ and gave it a public IP with no restrictions - Now it works. Obviously not the optimal setup, need to find something in between, but at least now its visible :)

Haven't tested much, so I'm not 100% certain this will work for everyone, maybe its just random.

Edit: I also simplified the name of the server, removed spaces and .'s but pretty sure that was not the problem.

Hi Mantrain, was the server not visible in the server list only to you? Or to others outside your LAN?

Does it show in your server list with a appended "(LAN)"?

When I game I am not on the same LAN as the server, and I couldnt see it in the serverlist, but join it using console worked fine.
I made the changes remotely, and it showed up in the list - But I can see now that other people have tried the same, and it hasn't worked for them, so I dont know ..

Can I just check if you specified a -ip? If so, try removing it or binding it to your LAN ip.

Keep in mind, the following answer worked on Windows 2008R2 Server.

I couldn't get my server to show up on the in game browser UNLESS I completely disabled the windows firewall.

I do have ports 27015 + 27016 tcp and udp opened up. I was able to connect through the console so I know there wasn't a problem there.

The above did not work. I could connect but see it in this list. I restarted the server several times and also my game. No luck. If I disabled the firewall, then everything was good.

Didn't like the idea of my firewall being disabled so, I went a different route:

I added the server.exe to the windows firewall WITH the two ports above:

This worked for me. This is my ns2.bat to start the server also:

server.exe -name "Oblivion Server - oblivionserver.com" -config_path "D:\Games\Steam\naturalselection2\config" -limit 18 -ip 184.82.191.94 -port 27015 -webadmin -webport 8000 -webuser "umno" -webpassword "sumoldguy"

Running great now!

I believe there is a port that isn't being found or we aren't being told about that is still being blocked. I can disable the firewall completely and it works but when I turn it back on it does not.

Hope this helps.
