<div class="IPBDescription">Who knew?</div>Apparently res overflow is no longer in game and those players who hit 100 are just throwing it away. I'd like to see that changed and don't know when or why it was taken out.

Also up until resently I was under the impression that when a player is dead the pres he would get would be distributed to his team. I liked that idea but I suppose that you could abuse it and have 8 players continously die and one player saving for onos....

Basically I was wondering if people agreed that A. Overflow should be brought back. B. death res should be distributed. (Maybe with some sort of cap to limit abuse)

    SInce when? The only time someone doesn't recive Pres is when dead or the team has no RT's. When was this changed?

    There is a 100 PRes limit. I never remember to buy stuff at a PLab or a Armoury so I always accidentally save up. Our team would have 3-5 extractors and I would still get stuck at 100 PRes.

    As for Kharaa I do not know.

    So if an exo gets 100 p res they should kill themselves and get another if they can?
    So if an onos gets 100 p res they should kill themselves and go onos again?

    Only if there is some tactical advantage to being in base as opposed to remaining on the field with 100 pres.

    If you're onos/exo and already have 100 pres again you really don't need any more of it, I like that it stops with 100.

    I think the OP is contrasting with NS1 where when you had 100 PRes as an Alien your PRes instead flowed into other players. Therefore it was OK to have max res since it would spread out to your teammates. Instead, he is claiming in NS2 once you hit 100PRes your overflow goes... nowhere.

    I have no idea if this is true or not.

    I tested this not too long ago actually. When the team had 100 res I was getting more per tick, also the same was true when another player had 100.

    I'm not suggesting you kill yourself I'm suggesting they tweak the game so pres doesn't just poof into thin air but gets redistributed to the team.

    As far as overflow apparently the only tic that overflow occurs us the tick when you reach 100. Players who are dead or capped at 100 are not part of the res calculations .
