Auto team balance

Seriously, this issue should be solved. Like, do not enforce auto team balance on people who we've been playing for the very start, try those who joined late instead. Or do not start it just because one dude from opposite team went to ready room.
I have nothing against auto balance in symmetrical games, like TF2, Tribes, Battlefield. But this is way different, if I picked my side and have been doing productive things for the whole game, there is no way I want to switch to the other game. They suck so much people are leaving? Their problem. Why should we have half of our team waiting for someone to join other team? While they have 2 guys less in total, we have 3 guys less on the battlefield. Seriously.
