no servers

<div class="IPBDescription">need help!</div>hi all, just bought this today and after going thru most the videos and tutorials was really excited to get playing. however when i click play then join no servers appear. unchecked modded incase they were only types available to no avail.
if someone can help rectify this situation then i would be truely grateful

Ive been playing since launch and I just started having this problem too..awfully frustrating since I just bought a server and am trying to get it set up..

look in the sticky threads - there is a thread about the joining servers problems.

open your steam settings, press "downloads+cload" and lower your "Game server browser: max pings/minute" to a lower value , e.g. 500.

If the server browser "hangs" try pulling your internet cable out and in.
