Really old pre-order key..

A friend of mine pre-ordered NS2 for me a few years ago when it was still in early development; I have no idea where to input the key to unlock the game. It's not a Steam key and I don't see anything on my control panel. The key is 32 characters. I already sent an email/tweeted but I haven't gotten a response.

Anyone have any ideas?

    Try to use this, or get your friend to try it.

    That 32-character key is used for the old standalone engine test they released. They sent an email with a new key when they moved it to Steam.

    Use the retrieve page and type in the email associated with the key.
