People have been suggesting this ever since the alpha got released but on the long list of things that needed addressing this was like #725 out of 800 and we're not past #600 yet. UWE is a small team. Very capable, but small. I am certain it will be changed eventually.

It is known. And even thoe its probaly a 1 hour fix. Whit such a small Dev team, that 1 hour might be spend better on fixing stuff. Anyways, you can expect that it will be fixed when time permits :)

default FOV is a bit different per class, skulk is wider than marine etc. I've my fov slider turned up about 4/5 and just gotten used to it on both teams.
