Better communication, get more players, sell more game

Hi,
Awsome work, the game is probably improvable in itself, but i think the best improvement right now would be to have more players.
Sooner or later if no more communication is done within Europe the game will stop selling while if some more people hear about it, there can be a "snowball" effect.
First of all, how i met NS (NS2).
A friend of me was spectating a TF2 rockstar "Wltrs"[*] on his stream and suddently he ran that weird game.
My friend spectated a bit and digged a little bit more to figure out that the gameplay was rich with an huge teamplay potential.
When i looked at it myself, i bought it straight.
When i was convinced and talked about it, and said that "look, Wltrs playing it", other friends wanted to buy it (and some did).
What's really a pitty is that i could have not seen this awsome game.
Few month agos, i saw all my friends playing "Shootmania" i even were at a lan where there was "shootmania keys" for the winners and everyone wanted that key ... in that lan, they organized a Shootmania tournament with useless prices, and everyone wanted to participate.
Before i tried the game, it looked great. Then i bought the game.
I've been bored in 1H .. There is nothing in that game.
I asked a friend why he was playing that game and he said "It will be the most played FPS".
As it is a really bad game, that crazy wave is now buried in the past.
The point is: Shootmania is a crappy game that most of my steam mates bought. Even my colleagues know about Shootmania (and everyone now, know that it is a crap game).
While NS2 is an awsome game that most people have never heard of..
I do not have a precise idea however, but i hope you will have.
I'm from france by the way, and there is not even a small NS french community website as there is probably less than 50 french players :(.

I find it funny how most big-budget games have to work hard on marketing and getting all buddy-buddy with many so called "game critics" so that reviews can be early and positive. This game? It stands on its own.
So, what can you do? Next time your friends get all googly-eyed for the next $60 hyped piece of crap, give 'em some better suggestions.
