<div class="IPBDescription">I think the Onos UI needs some improvement.</div>Obviously since aliens aren't using guns their UI is drastically different. Most of them seem to follow a similar pattern which is fine.
Skulks are viewed from the jaws, so you can aim your bites.
Gorges are viewd from the jaws, so you can aim your spits.
Lerks are aimed from the jaws with appendages on the sides, so you can aim bites and shots.
Fades are a bit different, viewed more like traditional FPS where you see your arms. But since his arms are his weapons, you can aim your swipes easily.
Then we get to the Onos. The Onos is viewed from above the head and all you see when he attacks is a flail of his tentacles and a tilt of his head.
There is no good UI feedback to show where you are aiming your attack or how the attack is performed. It's like first-person punching but your fists don't actually move, they just sit there and fidget a little. That's basically what the Onos is like.
For some reason this does not apply to structures - when you attack structures as Onos you can clearly see your feet stomping down on it, which is great.
Please improve this. I'd like to actually see where and how I'm attacking instead of just pointing my camera toward a marine and spamming click, assuming I'm hitting him.

Welcome to the forums!
Continuing with the fist metaphor, it's like first-person punching but your hands don't actually punch when you attack. They just sit there and fidget.
