<div class="IPBDescription">Let's create a library</div>Hi All,

I have recorded some walljumping routes for ns2_summit & ns2_veil.

Anyone else have some more video's? I'm trying to get some sort of a library together to show my new mates playing NS2.

Nice vids mf. It's good to see you can get something worthwhile from skilled wall-jumping.

Ok, these are good, you can use these to move very quickly around the map, but how are you going to use this to kill marines?

Same way you used bunny-hopping to close the distance to the marines in NS1. It's just a bit more specific.

That's where it becomes interesting and require some skill.
    Short answer is practice :)

A commendable contribution to teaching new people how to use a skulk!

    Thank you! :)

Nice, I like that ventilation part the most. What mouse DPI and in-game sensitivity do you use, OP? I tend to lose speed quite often from jumping off a wall, hitting the ground, and wall-jumping again. Definitely need to practice jumping off the same wall consecutively. :O I was a bit discouraged at my own wall-jumping speed after watching your vids, but I guess the speed is misleading due to your high FOV.

Look at the speed bar in the bottom left. That will let you know if your going fast/slow. I believe its 13 - 13.5 for ventilation

I can't really agree that this is skilled; four days after release and there's already youtube vids showing the max potential output of the feature? Most of us, probably mf too I guess, knew even before release how to maximize it. There is nothing more to it; no depth.

You should watch the advanced skulk video in the training section in main menu. Made by Skie.

Is staying on one wall while wall jumping possible without previously gained increased speed?

I suppose the skill is in learning how to chain them. 3-4 jumps is quite easy, but 8-10 is much more difficult. Still has a low ceiling though, once the routes are learned then it there isn't much to it.
