Can't play ns2, >out of range problem< resolution problem,advice please.

I was playing with the screen resolution and change the game resolution to 1600x1000 which my screen cant support.
This cause everything to turn black and the >out of range< problem comes up. Game is still running in the background though.
I tried reinstalling,doesnt work.
Tried using launch command, doesnt work e.g. -w 1680 -h 1050 (my original settings)
Is there anyway i can change the files directly outside games or anything else?

That *should* get you the menu,
But if not, you can always go to "C:\Users\yournamehere\AppData\Roaming\Natural Selection 2\system_options.xml\" and manually modify the resolution in there.
