Infested power nodes!

Since lighting gives this game so much.. i would like to see more darkness, especially in alien territory
How about the alien com being able to build an infested power node.
It can only be build near cysts or infestation (so only alien territory) and it will do two things.
1. It will protect the power node from evil marines who try to build it up (a little or alot.. whatever meets balance)
2. If the power node is functional.. the infested power node will more or less slow/fast destroy the power node (since there are cysts its alien territory and full lightning doesnt fits). Sometimes the aliens just dont destroy it... its pretty boring to bite every node down.
3. Maybe it even lowers the emergency lightning (if power node is destroyed.. the room is full of red light) a bit or alot.. whatever meets balance.

Except for the fact that people aren't supporting one thread, this is an idea that's gradually gaining traction. One thing's for sure, nobody's happy with the fact that infested rooms, especially the alien hives, are always all brightly lit and cheery, and that the emergency lighting is, by default, as bright as the room was before, only red.
