<div class="IPBDescription">Where can I get the new maps to test on the tutorial.</div>I checked out the maps in NS2 and there are no new maps in it. Also in the tutorial only summit is available.

You can play other maps on your own by starting a server via the Play menu. Drop the console (~) and type "cheats 1" to play around as commander and run around the map.

For the tutorial, explore mode is currently only available for some maps.

This is because special procedures has to be done by the server for explore mode, which is not yet implemented for the other maps.

You can alternatively start your own server with your chosen map and enable cheats as mentioned above to build up your own base and experiment.

Thanks for the reply. I knew that. I was hoping the tutorial was more flexible. I'm just trying to figure out the best way practice and find out how everything works. It's hard to do in-game. The best way seems to fix my broken other computer so I can set up LAN and work both sides.
