All sound stopping/pausing while in Steam Overlay

<div class="IPBDescription">Just want to know if I'm the only one</div>As per the title - since the latest patch, everytime I Shift+Tab to open the Steam Overlay, all the sound and music cuts out.

Is this an actual bug, that others are experiencing, or just me?

    I'm getting it as well and I'm not sure if it is a bug or it was intentional.

    Its intentional so that new players can hear the tutorials which use the steam overlay.

    Anyway, thanks for the update. Do you know if it's going to be this way permanently, or is this just a (hopefully very) temporary workaround until better (not reliant on Steam Overlay) tutorials are added?
