SOLVED - ns2 unplayable low fps wtf?

<div class="IPBDescription">uber low fps with high end pc</div>hi i've just bought ns2 and i've got in the menu 12/13 fps and playing 5 to 19 fps? wtf is wrong with this game. i play bf3 ultra high with 85 fps.

got a i7 with 3,5 ghz and a nivida gtx680 with 2 times ocz vertex 4 ssd.

The 1.0 patch that was released (build 227) introduced multiple bugs that are effecting many people.

There should be a patch later today to fix many issues that didnt exist before 227 which do now, which include, CTD, precaching, UI issues, slow FPS.

Running the game fine on a stable 60fps with everything set to high on the following setup:
i7-2600k, GTX580 OC and 8Gb of DDR3. So it's not your hardware, should be more then enough for the game. Try updating your drivers ( video, chipset ), in most cases they are the problem. If not, then there's either something wrong with your pc or the game has a major performance bug and UWE will patch that soon enough. Also make sure you haven't overclocked something yourself, might be causing system instabilities ( do a factory reset to be sure ).

This---^ , the game ran at 60fps high everything with only AO off before the Launch build (227) , since launch the game has taken a big hit.

My assumption is it's related to the precache bug. The game is not precaching assets properly as intended, therefore it is having to load data on the fly from the HDD rather than the RAM. Once they release the precache bug update fix later today, your issues should go away.

Post back here if your still having problems after the update tonight.

update 228 didn't fix anything game is still unplayable.

running al other game without any issue far cry 2, battlefield 3 cs go, tf2 doom 3 bfg . latest drivers and everything is installed.

Sorry to hear about that, could you try the steps in <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=122598" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/in...howtopic=122598</a> and post your logfile and dxdiag output as described please?
With this information we might able to track down what's causing this and inform the UWE devs.

made a ns2 profile within nvidia settings to force it using gtx680m no i have 180 fps thnx guys.
