Menu not loading

<div class="IPBDescription">main menu when game opens doesnt show up</div>I bought the game a long time ago and played alpha and beta a lot. Had no problem like this before until i stopped playing for a couple months and tried playing yesterday.

Ive let it sit there to see if it takes a while to load up, left it there over night and nothing happened.

Ive redownloaded and installed a couple times and that didnt fix it.

Ive updated my drivers and that didnt fix it.

Running out of ideas to try to fix this issue. If anyone has a solution or other ideas i can try to fix it, i would greatly appreciate it.

i had the same problem. i did verify the integrity of the game and found 23 files corrupted...
it download 30 mb and i was able to get in... restore from a backup will not fix corrupted file btw...

Delete:
\Steam\steamapps\common\natural selection 2\ns2\shaders

Then verifiy integrity of game cache through steam.

I had the same issue and this solved it for me.
