Partway through game, keypresses cause lag and beep

Hey guys,

This has now happened a couple of times, and has an easy fix of restarting the game, but I at least wanted to try and possibly figure it out if it's on my end, or have it known if it's on your end.

I'll be playing like normal (both times it's been as Marine), and all of a sudden when I press W,A,S, or D, I get what sounds like a windows keystroke beep, followed by half a second of lag. I can keep this going by pressing multiple keystrokes in a row.

As I said, I fix this easily by restarting the game, and it's only happened a couple of times out of many games, but I'd like to reduce this down to 0 times in the future.

Thanks!

Please provide system specifications / dxdiag report as well as the log.txt found in %appdata%/Natural selection 2/ folder immediately after this happens (if you run ns2 again it will overwrite the log)

It does sound very odd. Are you sure you do not have any other applications open that may possibly interact with your keystrokes? Game overlays like mumble, etc.?
