<div class="IPBDescription">My game becomes unplayable for like 2 seconds</div>Every time I phase, my computer lags super much when I come out of the phase gate.
It happens almost every time and this issue started in build 225 or 226.
So basically I cannot do anything for like 2-3 seconds after I exit the phase gate.
It is super annoying because there are often situations when phase gate is under attack and you need to react very fast after phasing.

My computer is i7 930 (not overclocked), gtx460, 6gb ram and im getting usually around 30-45fps.

Anybody else experiencing this annoying problem?

Oh I just noticed this might not be a phase gate issue.
This happens especially on maps like Veil (Cargo, System Waypoint) and Refinery.
There might be just too many things to render?
In some maps (like Tram) I don't experience this phase gate lag at all.

Hi there, could you post a copy of your log?

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Attach or post the contents of the NS2 "log.txt" file, this contains useful error messages for the UWE devs:
To get to the file, press windows key + R, fill in "%appdata%\Natural Selection 2", hit enter.
You can either copy paste it to the forums or post it into a website such as <a href="http://www.pastebin.com" target="_blank">http://www.pastebin.com</a> and post the link here on the forums.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Had a similar problem. Short freezes whenever the game seemed to load new areas and it happened more severely on ns_veil. Turning on texture-streaming and lowering the texture-resolution to medium solved the issue for me. Using the MSI Afterburner on-screen-display, NS2 seemed to require more than 1GB of GPU-Memory. Might be fixed now though.
