Can't play at all!

CPU: AMD Phenom 955
GPU: Ati Radeon HD5770 in crossfire
OS: Windows 7
I just managed to get into a game albeit it was empty of players. But I noticed I got a red icon indicating a connection problem, I was in the game as a marine then I got dropped out with the annoying "Timeout" which I'm always encountering when I try to join any game.
I mainly experience the black screen with "Build 227" in the corner but when that doesn't appear and I get into the game I get a red icon on the left that drops me out of the game with a "Timeout" just like the black screen.
In conclusion I can't play at all even if I manage to get into the game it will drop me out shortly there after.
My internet works fine in torrent and on my browser also I had like 100 ping in that game where I got dropped with the red icon so I'm not seeing a connection issue from my end.
