Windows 7 problems with NS2

<div class="IPBDescription">New topic since my last one was full of dumb.</div>Since my last thread about this was pretty much just raging i decided to make a new topic. First off all my specs
GPU: GTX580 with lastest drivers
GPU: Intel i7 950 @3.07
RAM: 8GB RAM
Now about the problems I encounter
1. Game freezes windows 7 when closing.
When i close the game sometimes i can't press anything. NS2 isn't shut off to this point, when i try to access the taskmanager windows freezes and i can't control my mouse anymore, no response at all. It doesn't appear like i actually got a crash, since i don't get a crash dump.
2. Engine can't recover
This is widly know i guess, randomly the engine can't recover etc, not a big problem, but still annoying.
3. "green screen of death"
After going AFK and coming back, the game crashed, mouse doesn't work, i still hear NS2 ambient noise in the background, I can't access my task manager. The screen is completly olive green. Again, i can't access anything, but it is not a crash.
4. ns2.exe doesn't close after leaving game
This has happened to me occasionally, when leaving the game the engine doesn't correctly shut off, when trying to close the game on task manager it doesn't close still, when trying to kill its process my PC slows down to an unbelievable level where i need to restart.
I had problem 1 and 2 happen to me since i got the game 7 month ago, 3 and 4 only happened recently. If anyone knows what could cause this or a dev got an answer please help. I am enjoying NS2 alot, but it doesn't help that trying to play the game is just painful.
