It Really Bothers Me When People Don't End The Game

I don't think it is just a pet peeve of mine.
I'll give you my example. I was playing as Alien and at about 10-15 minutes are khammander I can only assume rage quit or just quit. Nobody noticed and to be honest I don't recall seeing the thing that said "Commander needed" or I'm just oblivious. Well I hopped into the chair and found out we had zero upgrades, one hive, and three harvesters at 15 minutes. Cool right ? So I try and do as much damage control as possible, I instantly double expanded, cysted as much as I could (We were sitting on ridiculous number of team rez) and give my team an onos egg with one mission, stall. So eventually I got all three hives up with upgrades carapce, silence, celerity, stomp, blink, bile bomb and leap. But now its the 20ish minute mark. They are so far ahead, a skulk ran in their base and the comm is spamming dual exos for their team. (My ingame time might be off) Anyway eventually they push in destroy two hives and basically wipe our upgrades. I try my best to give my team what they needed but it was a loss game. Now this is around 30 minutes. We have I think ONE onos against a team of full jetpack marines shotguns 3 3 upgrades and probably 5 exos. And they wouldn't win. I don't know why they just wouldn't. I even called "gg." 10 minutes later around 40 minus they still didn't win and I say "Plz end." And 10 minutes later they are still sitting at the entrance to our hive spamming exos. At which point I just leave.
I don't know why I got as bothered as I did by this but honestly it was just so frustrating. Clearly the game was over at around 20 minutes especially after we lost two hives but instead of ending they sat their farming kills. And no they weren't all rookies who had no idea how to push, the only reason we lost both hives was very well played split push. So yeah, thats my frustration. Some of my team F4d and some didn't. But it still didn't end.

The game auto-ends usually if enough people leave.
Edit: Along lines of above, it is sometimes quite hard to actually finish when a team is well dug in. It takes a big push to clear out the last hive or station. However exosuits vs skulks... thats just farming.

It did, unfortunately it's disabled on UWE servers.
Had a game that was stalled like that for 20 minutes, total probably an hour, with 10 marines versus 1 single alien left that would not F4 or quit. New players ended up joining and filling the team up again. I don't know how long it kept going after that, I left too when that happened. Please, keep the 40% less players win condition, it's absolutely horrific without it. New players doesn't know about forfeiting, instead you get to play the late game 75% of the time with one team being shut down forever, a terrible experience for a new player, and the other complaining about "rage quitters" while being unable to end the game they won half an hour ago.

This. I was on a marine team that was clearly in a position to win, holding all other tech points and even applying some pressure on the final hive, however when the commander gives no clear orders to march into the hive, marines tend to hang around tech points pointlessly desperately defending each one even though all they need to do is a final push for the hive to win. It wasnt till i just mic spammed that defending 4 tech points is stupid, just march into the hive and end it, that the game ended as it should have. I have no doubt that it would of pointlessly continued into a turtle game unless actual offensive commands were given to these guys.
Make Onos able to push buildings, no more blocking door openings with armory, onos will push them back.
take a hard look at sentry guns either they get nerfed or aliens equal gets buffed. Those things are insane, and marines spam them 3-4 in one place nothing short of a freaking Onos has anything, not even sure if onos can break them.
Imagine the crying if it was Aliens being able to drag out the game. Its marines every time, and wasting 15 min because they can turtle hard, it makes so sense, either give both sides that feature or prevent it from marines.
But yeah breaking into the last room, when there is buildings blocking entrances, exo suits, grenade launhers, sentry gun, can aynone here see how absurd it is ?.
Yet marines can bypass ALL alien defence with grenade launcher. again nerf it, or give Aliens something equal, long range spammy that can bypass sentries and buildings blocking.
See this is what I'd of assumed if they weren't literally sitting right around the corner from our hive camping with exos. They never chose to attack our hive or our eggs when we had only one hive. They just sat there. Honestly I think they were just farming kills. A lot of people sat their with GLs and jetpacks just popping shots. Never turning the corner to hit our hive when their is not a single whip, or even more than 2 people alive.
4 People f4d so it was 8 on 4. Game would not end.
