Getting Authentication timed outs for server

Having the same problem, seems to be related to Steam's servers. Steam Friends is offline for me, seems like Cloud is down for me too.

A bunch of other people are also having the same problem around here.

If steam friends is down for you, then neither you nor your server will be able to authenticate (hence the time outs).

I have the same problem...

I can join any server.

But the server that I am hosting, if i try to connect to it it displays an authentication failure.
