Monitor doesn't support startup resolution

I bought this game yesterday, and stayed up late last night combing through its files with frustration. My 'monitor' is an LCD tv, so it not supporting a game's startup resolution isn't uncommon, but I couldn't find any files that I could change the startup resolution in.

Does anyone know how to change the resolution outside of game?

Using steam launch options didn't work.
