<div class="IPBDescription">Thoughts from a long time NS fan</div>I'm currently waiting for NS2 to install on my machine. I was looking around on steam and I noticed this:

For the uninitiated, this means that NS2 is currently the best selling thing on Steam. It also means that NS2 is currently beating some of the most amazing AAA horror games that are currently selling at 50-75% off their normal prices.
I've been a fan of NS for a long time. I didn't jump for the beta because I've been busy and in some ways I didn't want to get into NS so well before it was ready. But there wasn't any way in hell I was going to miss this next generation. As soon as the preorder came out at a very reasonable $25 with some nice little bonuses, of course I jumped on it.
NS1 literally defined a era of my life. NS2 isn't finished installing on my machine yet, so we have yet to see what exactly this game will mean to me. But for what Charlie and crew gave me in NS1 alone there's really not much I can do to repay them for it. It was definately worth far more than the $25 I spent on NS2. I can't express how happy I am for you guys that NS2 has finally reached it's goals and officially been released! This is a giant accomplishment! I was nervous a couple weeks ago when the NS2 preorders were ranked 25 or so on top sellers in steam, but I guess in retrospective that's not that surprizing. But now #1! You guys deserve it, and I hope it remains this way for a while to come!
