Icons below my name on main menu?

What do all the little icons below my account name mean? They seem to be more than nernies / greeblies but there are no tool tips for them...

Weren't they removed? Haven't checked, but the patch notes says they're gone.

it has been removed when I played this morning. I guess some are still seeing them? could be a bug

aren't they icons to have next to your name ingame ?

They said they were badges.. probably for doing certain achievements .. or squad 5 badge or soemthing
