Invalid Data error on connection to official Servers

Hey guys,
I'm sry if this has already been discussed but the search function didn't get me any results.
My NS2 has just been updated to the new released build 226. After that I wanted to find and join a server in the serverbrowser like I did in all the past builds.
Now for some reason I'm getting either the error msg that the client and server version differ - which might be a result of the non officials server not being up to date yet - or the error msg "invalid data". The last one occured as I tried to join official servers.
Now I'm kinda nervous about that as we are close to the release of the game. Do any other ppl have these error msgs? I'm not able to join a server now :(
<b>////EDIT:</b> I disabled some of my mods now and am at least able to join custom hosted servers again (non official). Didn't try officials again yet.

If that doesn't work, try unsubscribing from all your mods and deleting the %APPDATA%\Natural Selection2\Workshop folder.
