Weird Khammander behavior

So when I drop upgrade sturctures they seem to upgrade themselves to whatever they want. I think it happened to a Hive once as well, it upgraded to Shade Hive. And once it made leap without me clicking it. It happens instantly, I didn't leave the Hive once. Is that intended?
Other than that, I really like the new UI for both commanders.

    You sure you didn't accidentally click the floating grey research shortcuts atop of new hives? It's pretty common for commanders to accidentally click those.

    Sounds like a valid point, didn't even notice those shortcuts. So are they shown for upgrade structures as well?

    Yup, all structures have them, and they're definitely a little less noticeable to the trained eye now that they're so greyish. They probably need to take another pass at their colour scheme. I believe you can turn them off by turning off hints, but I'm not sure.

    Oh wow. Ok I'll have an eye on that, it could be the solution. My team almost killed me, then I had a cyst placement bug, then I raged and went Onos. The team felt with me and we won the game nonetheless :D
