In the next build DI might look better than it does in the loading screens

It's not unbelievable. Look how many civilian workers go into Iraq, Afghanistan etc, sometimes being killed by either 'side'.

I do not command much so this may not be new but I was playing a game on Summit as Alien commander and I was unable to drop crossroads RT until I built the hive, it was giving me a "Out of range" error. Are we not able to build RTs across the map anymore?

May be silly question but did you have infestation over the res node? Was there a marine or an extractor there? I've not had this problem so probably just a one off.
Couple of things, on some of the maps (tram for sure) as a lerk (or jetpack i assume) you can fly out of the map in some vents and then fly under the tram departures point and kill stuff under ground (MAGIC FLOOR SPORES). Also the alien structures make mechanical sounds when you bite them.
Also a suggestion sort of linked to a fellows suggestion, perhaps make the infestation turn sort of black and decaying around dying/disconnected cysts. obviously not important but just something i think would add some immersion and atmosphere. also some floaty spore particles around infested areas could be cool.
I'm not 100% if this is new in this build or I just haven't noticed it before but the blink sound effect keeps playing for about 3 seconds after I stop blinking rather than the "snap" sound it used to make when you finished a blink.

That's a pretty blatant trend, I don't think aliens were buffed THAT much... Seems more likely to be indicative of hitreg problems. Or it could be a lot of abuse of the map glitches.

Definitely hitreg/map problems since there were virtually no balance changes this patch (afaik).

Until hit reg is fixed again, it's very hard to really draw any conclusions on the state of the game.
I couldn't drop any eggs with an echoed shift. (Researched echo in sub, then echod it to cross, couldn't drop eggs with it after that) I think this is a bug, if someone wants to try and reproduce.
Was making shift eggs free intentional? I've gotten in the habit of putting my shifts on hotkey 5 or something, then mashing A repeatedly, since there's little reason NOT to have a giant pile of eggs sitting around. Also makes a great intro to an assault on a marine base, if they're not paying attention and you can get cysts into it... nothing quite as distracting as a giant pile of eggs in the middle of your base while there's skulks zipping around everywhere.
So any savvy tech wizards have a reassuring clue on whether this is a fixable-within-three-days-problem, or was this because of the code changes that have occurred?
not just that, but I know a lot of players were attempting to stack aliens just because I'm sure they were so upset about aliens losing for the last like three weeks
