<div class="IPBDescription">From the Alien POV</div>ok guy I am a bit sick of the alien comm as it is just now I don't go marine comm but I am sure its the same for them, here are my demands:P
1: the abilty to group structures or asign 1-5 keybings for groups like SC2 would be fine ie ctrl+1. The reason for this is say ur ink clouding a hive to stop arc but u need to do sumthing else for a min try to select said shade can be very annoy and not quick enough when ur dealing with AI bots(arcs) many other things aswell like shifts and drifters. If you want to call your self a RTS/FPS you need to cater to the RTS guys aswell and we exepct basic stuff like being able to group up AI units and Buildings.
2.A UI on comm screen showing all current upgrades its very annoying as a comm not being able to see this without jumping out or some1 telling u.
3.better and more reailby notifactions of buildings that are under attack
4.Cyst not connected measage not buildings are under attack ,, and we get every noob skulk on the map at a RT with nothing attacking it :P
5.These new pressable icons that at over the tech points and RT spots I like and even the ones over the spurs and that are nice as the icon doesn't show up if you already have ,, which is not a answer to no:2. the problem is that they can cover other builds like crags and shifts and make selecting these builds very hard. Just today I had a shade in flight not far from the power node and the hive in that room was a shift hive and everytime I tried to selected the shade to use ink cloud I was hitting the build spur icon that the hive has next to it,,,
6.I also want a map notifcation for scans , like scan detected now if this was a trait linked to a shade I would be fine with it, what I mean is that it only told you the area was being scanned if there was a shade that had its cloak interrupted.
7. as far as I am aware alien comm still can't give personal waypoints to ailens and groups of ailens ,, again this going back to point 1 I would like if I could select and group of player and say make them group 1 and be keybinded to 1 and making it when ailen are selected that a simple right click on a area would give them the same arrow on the ground that marines do,, I know we have got attack here and that but in pubs I think it would be much better if you could hotkey them that way you could insure that you got a even split at the start of the game even with players without mics.
I am sure I will think of things to add to my list ofd demands :P

Definitely agree that upgrades should be shown on the UI somewhere for the alien comm.
Agree with 3, 4
I think 5 is okay but there should be an option to turn this off, for us more experienced commanders.

1 - you can group some things, but not all things, this is also one of my points in the above thread.
2 - another excelelnt point, i raised a similar point, and people posted with your idea in return, i think this would be a very good idea.
3 - great point, also echoed in my thread
4 - i tend to look at it from a competitive stand point, rather than from worrying what a noob skulk will do. There is some warning that it might be a cyst problem, i.e. the red circle on radar as the infestation dimishes. It does however require a only a quick word to your commander to find out what is going on at that node, if he hasnt alrleady said "recysting logistics" to let you know.
5 - good point, i raised the same point. My issue really is that although the buttons are mostly annoying, and get in the way, know which troop is low on ammo is very useful. I would like to see another system for showing ammo, so that i can simply turn off these tips.
6 - i disagree here, i feel that marines should be able to sneak a scan in while the alien commander is out or distracted, without having to scan in multiple places to obfisacte the teams objectives. you can hear the ping if its nearby, you can look for where it is, unless you are distracted!
7 - once again, i disagree here. A microphone is a must, its less effort to hit a button to talk than to provide a team member with a distracting waypoint that might block his line of fire. Perhaps this is once again because of my focus on competitive rather than public play.
