I think that'd be a really neat idea or just more aliens in general. The gap between Skulk and Fade seem way too large, I think there should be more in between that are combat oriented.

The gap between skulk and fade is Gorge and Lerk...although, the game is designed so that all lifeforms are viable in all stages of the game, theres plenty of gameplay right there....
New Lifeform: The Krol (based on how the other lifeforms cept Onos are named from verbs that have to do with being stealthy; skulk, lurk, fade. So... "Crawl")
Appearance: Spider-like, with 4 legs. Something like the lurker from Starcraft 1, but perhaps less insectile and more saurian to fit with the rest of the lifeforms.
Role: hive defense, soft counter to jetpacks
Strengths: powerful on infestation, strong range attacks, high armor, natural camouflage in infestation
Weaknesses: Lack of mobility, high energy cost on attacks and movement, more passive style of play
Playstyle: Crawl on the ceiling, cloak & wait for marines to come by. Hit them with some kind of devastating ranged attack then scurry away.
Cool abilities- Death Drop: Fall from the ceiling and land directly on a marine to insta-kill it. Requires skill to pull off & exposes yourself afterwards.

they also said they'd set the ns1 forum up.... it took a year after a "hacking".... ns1 aside, if they are planning on releases just to balance and make the game better... when will they have time to add a lifeform and/or weapon and balance it w.o regular buyers getting pissed and quitting?
