I mean seriously? did people just ###### a lot to the point that dev's gave in and made these changes? SO much for a free environment and being able to hide. Yeah, making an invisible wall makes absolute perfect sense. It's just other players ###### about a gorge constantly killing the RT on landing pad when the solution is "HEY WAIT A MINUTE, SECOND CHAIR AND JP, OMG, WHY HAVE WE NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT!?"
How's about you make a god damn shortcut to landing pad so we don;t have to make a run-through through cafe or term.
Seriously, these stupid changes have to stop even if they are in favor of a alpha player or long term beta player that somehow made a name for himself in the community. Yeah i am talking about you, you know who you are. Just because i am a beast gorge and you can't handle it, you end up dumbing up the gameplay, oh sorry, not dumbing up the gameplay, "BALANCE".

Vent from central to LP, no res node. With the additional vents, it should hopefully unf*** that currently very f***ed for aliens map. :-)
It is fixed next patch, the RT has been removed from it and aliens can go where they please again.
Sure, there's no extractor there anymore, but it should be added back in in my opinion - as long as there's another way to get to it via the vent in central. That way it can actually be contested if marines hold cafeteria.
Can somebody tell me the part of the video that shows invisible walls?
It would probably require far too much of an overhaul, but I would like to see a siege spot to cafeteria or terminal in landing pad.
As soon as any skulk gets there they have the ability to munch on the rt and then just hide underneath when a marine comes.

There were a bunch of invisible walls added to docking two patches or so ago. There is one that lowers the ceiling and prevents aliens from going on top of that ledge over the door to terminal and there are also walls underneath the pad that block off all but the edges.
There may be some more but I haven't been playing since 223 came out.
That's pretty damn lame.
