Shift key movement for skulk/lerk bugged?

I've noticed in 222/223 that when I'm using the shift key to cling to ceilings/walls as a skulk, that I can still pull myself off of them fairly easily (especially ceilings or sharp turns on walls), almost like not using it at all. Very irritating when on the ceiling trying to follow a marine below you and *plop*, down you go.

I've also had trouble roosting with a lerk using the shift key, though I can't reliable reproduce it. Sometimes when I glide at a wall while holding shift I stick, other times I don't; I just get the rollerskates that lerks get when running in to walls now, though it doesn't really take me anywhere, what with me pointing directly at the wall and all. I can, however, roost consistently if I flap just before hitting the wall while holding shift. That obviously isn't a desired workaround, as sometimes the point is stealth, which doesn't work well with a loud flap.

Are these intended changes, or bugs?

This was probably made to make using shift while initiating combat easier. It's a bit more difficult to detach than not using shift, but personally I feel it needs to be tweaked a little. Although I wish they had a key which could stick to the edge without slowing speed nor letting you drop away.

Shift doesn't stick you to an edge as Skulk, it just makes you walk slowly.

It DOES stick you to an edge.. but in the last patch it was revised to be slightly less sticky.

Lerk roosting has always been unbelievably inconsistent. Such low priority right now considering.. But it is reported i believe. (lost at the bottom somewhere)
