Yeah, this is a lame-a$$ sploit. Whoever was raging about it seems to forget that after the first ~30 seconds of the game, PEOPLE JOINING IN FROM READYROOM WAIT IN LINE WITH EVERYBODY ELSE. So all you've got yourself is a really SLOW way to kill yourself, and instead of loosing one kill, you loose em all (your score is reset to 0).

About the only time the ready-room sploit is usefull is when people want to drop resources back to the Gorge. As a way to get back to spawn, it's fcking useless.

So what are we going to freak out about next? Rocket-jumping with the gren launcher with FF turned on? Guh, n00bs.

Who cares about frag points in NS? You forking CS biznatch. NS is about teamwork, not being rambo and getting mad frags.

Don't call me a CSer. I wasn't saying that it mattered. Someone had mentioned earlier in the thread that KILL looses you a frag. If that person is worried about that, they would probably mind loosing their entire ratio even more.

F4ing does not help the Marines but it gives incredible boosts of resources to the Khaara. When I was playing last night 4 games and servers in a row had the Khaara using it.

Heh.....I find it funny that being called a CSer has become the equivalent to calling a Clanner "Freebirth" or a politician "Truthful"
You CSer!!
Heh..my, my, We really need to come up with more creative insults, people. Something NS related. Like calling a marine a skulk lover or somethin.
Wait, I like skulks, and I tend to play marines. Nevermind, lets just steer away from the insults, In particular the CSer one. Flames=Bad, unless youre grilling hotdogs or somethin.

The Khaara really benifit from this tactic. I'm not sure whether it is an exploit or not but it smells like it. I'd be interested to hear Flayra's opinion on the matter.

Edit: thought I'd include some anecdotal evidence. Several of the times I played (in big games) the Khaara were able to get 3 hives up in about 10 minutes. WAY less time than it takes for the marines to lock down a hive. That's not very balanced.

Recently I've been seeing new topics started about my 'Ready Room' exploit. I didn't really look at it from the kahraa's (spelling?) view, but it seems that it's really a much bigger problem than anyone expected. As an alien, you can use the exploit to distribute resource points to the Gorg's. You need to fix this, devs.

I really never saw or heard of anyone using this untill I started the topic...me bad. Sorry devs. :/

Yea now its has got so bad almost every single server I go into is using it. And if they arent they will be soon enough as someone that knows how, wants to exploit, will come into the game. Until this is fixed I think Ill stop playing NS for a while. It just isnt fun playing Khaara and winning in such a way....as well as it is not fun to be playing Marine against a team that is exploiting.

Bye bye NS. See you later......hopefully.
