I have both beta and preorder on steam library. Will i have 2 copies installed now?

I'm confused, so last week I noticed NS2 preorder in my STEAM inventory. I add it to my steam library, thinking that this will get me the special edition unlocks. So what's going to happen to the beta version that's already been installed in my machine? Is it going to update to the full version? Or will it delete itself and download the pre-order version?

Try contacting Steam Support to see if they will give the gift back.

I remember the CS:GO beta re-downloading the whole game when the full version came out, so maybe the same thing will happen.

Also about the gift copy. It's yours and you can do whatever you like with it, but I would recommend trying to get it back and creating a giveaway. NS2 giveaways create more awareness of the game and it helps the devs out. But do what you want.
