<div class="IPBDescription">Gotta say im disappointed with you guys as a PC developer</div>I gotta admit i was worried about this, and im sad to see you only implemented the FOV halfway.

The current version of a Fov slider with no display of the current value, thats horrible, thats like having speedometer in your car with only the arms and no value, what good is this, im i supposed to move it alittle god into game play few minutes see if this feel right, adjust it again.

Come on guys seriously.

I want fov 95. now i gotta spend like 30min finding the sweet spot where i dont get headache or motion sickness.

Can you please display the value the slider is currently at, its not really asking to much of a PC dev, i mean even Borderlands 2 guys got i right after their horrible Borderline 1 port.

Cheers.

    I believe FOV changes per class, so skulks have a wider FOV than other aliens which have a wider FOV than marines, which was intentional for gameplay and immersion reasons, so changing the FOV doesn't set a specific FOV per class, but a range of FOVs per class. Might be wrong in this, but I believe that's how it was in ns1 at least.

    yea, it depends on the class. the fov slider adds up to 20 flat on top.

    Assuming you're playing on a 16:9 resolution, to get 95 FOV, leave the FOV slider all the way to the left on 0. In other words, no FOV tweaks are required.

    From my <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=121517" target="_blank">FOV thread</a>:
    <!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec--><u><b>How FOV works in NS2</b></u>
    B221 included an FOV Adjustment slider bar that allows you to increase your FOV by up to 20 from the default, which are different for each class:
    Default/Marine= 90
    Embryo = 100
    Skulk = 105
    Gorge = 95
    Lerk = 100
    Fade = 90
    Onos = 90
    Exo = 95<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    Personally, I think they should switch to a separate adjustable number for each lifeform. That way, people who want to equalize their FOV for all lifeforms can do so.
