Low Health/Ammo signs for commander

Instead of the automatic verbal notifications what about adding red cross for low health and a crossed-out bullet markers next to the marine icons on the commander's minimap? This would stop the constant verbal notices and might even cause the commander to act quicker with health/ammo drops even before a marine could request them.

Make the icons small enough so that they don't clutter, but maybe make them a bit flashy.

Agreed, there should be something to notify the comm more clearly. I don't think an icon above marines is good though because it will quickly clutter the comm view when there are 10 marines needing health and ammo. Instead have some sort of glow affect around the model. A red outline for health. A blue outline for ammo. A green outline for a combination of both.
