How do you download stuff from Steam Workshop ?

And how does the workshop works ?
If server has a mod from workshop client just automatically downloads it from there ?

    If the server has the map/mod properly setup, you will automatically download it when you join the servers. Otherwise you can go to Community -> Workshop -> Natural Selection 2 in steam and subscribe to all of the maps/mods you want. The next time you start NS2, it'll download all of the subscribed maps/mods.
