Please reduce the opacity of other marines' flashlight beams

When you have three or four marine teammates in a dark room with their flashlights on, the combined opacity of the transparent beams actually hinders my vision more than the darkness would. I don't know if this is intentional by design, but it hurts marine gameplay enough that it is near the top of my list of thing I hope to see tweaked/polished. Please give it a good looking over. :O

Is there going to be some sort of function of spotlight atmospheric beams where it has different opacity values according to the applied "Gobo Texture"? May that possibly be why the flashlights are in the state they are currently? Or any sprites emitting from the front of the gun (kind of like BF3's blinding flashlights)? Or an illumination texture layer to the weapons when flashlights are on?
Speaking of illumination textures, are the illum textures of the light models going to be updated like the alien structures were? In order to have the map's fluorescent lights disable when the power node is destroyed?
Currently it's even better to switch off shadows in the options, 'coz then I can see far more than having shadows on and using flashlight instead. Not to mention the fps I gain deactivating the shadows. :-P
