How many free copies do i get?

<div class="IPBDescription">Does purchaser get free copies or owner?</div>Hey all, topic pretty much says it all, but I've purchased ~4 copies of NS2 pre-steam, and I'm wondering if I will get all the free copies to give away or if they will go to the people I bought them for?

Since its based on steam, I would guess the account which redeemed the preorder code is the one that will receive the free gift version.

A free copy will be given to whoevers account owns the game on steam. (I assume)

Thats what I assumed as well, but I'm just lookin for confirmation since it wasn't purchased through steam
