I'll have to keep using the windowed mode I suppose. Good work for the rest of the build anyway, thanks you again for all those pre-order bonus, I've always dreamed about having your artworks in HD (any idea of when we will get it ?).

Also I don't think the MAC change will really prevent MAC spam, only makes it possible to combat 2-3 of them. 5+ is still going to be an issue. Edit: That said its still an improvement so thanks! :)

Honest plea I am begging on my knees here. Do not keep making marine movement even worse and even more boring. I hit my head on my desk hard enough when they nerfed jetpack energy but I cannot stand it anymore. PLEASE DON'T RUIN THIS GAME FOR PLAYERS WHO LOVE WHAT MADE THE ORIGINAL FUN, as in the old school mechanics. If iron sights are added next I am not sure what is going to happen to my sanity.

Sprint wasn't in NS1 (so don't think it can be called old school) and as it was in build 217 and before was an always press button with very little consequence to hit. Not fighting an alien? press the sprint button!
Walljump feels interesting on first glance. Will need time to see how that works out... still needs a speed cap imo @ like 10 or 11 or something.
Is this a client-side change? Does it mean, the marines get information on cloaked aliens from the server? Regarding exploits, it would be best not to trust the client and simply not to send information like that.
that's great nitpicking, but what he's referring to is "marine movement" in general, which is already lacking...and is made less effective by the sprint changes
Or you know we could fix in better ways and not band-aids like sprint. Such as more snappy response time when pressing any wasd key and make crouch jumping actually work.
I get a debug report, and it requires me to end task NS2 in order to actually get out of game and to my desktop.
If i dont do that, game freezes.
This did not happen in previous build at all. I have not updated any drivers.
Here's hoping we see some sort of changes with khaamander egg purchasing...

Crouch jumping seems to work ok now, I can easily get in a lot of chest high vents on Tram that I couldn't before build 217.

The visuals when your fighitng as alien dont always give a clear indicator...found the screams helpful to know a marine was dead.
I realize the change log says nothing about this but has the FOV changed or is it just me?
Playing at 1680x1050, 16:10 ratio btw.

That's good to hear, a lot of the problems have to do with the collison meshes on some of the props though and I don't think those have been adjusted yet.
Personally the skulk needs more attention to detail for hit indicators. I can never tell what hits landed and the scream was a great indicator.
