i was in one of 4 marine victories i have seen all weekend (i played a lot too :\ )
we have all but one of their hives and were just starting to build siege turrets.

this guy changed teams, started a vote eject, somehow it succeded and got in the comm chair.
he then sold everything on the entire map that could be sold. He then proceded to switch back to alien, laughing the entire way. He was banned of course but that was such a stupid thing that happened.

There will always be lamers. I played a game of Warcraft 3 in which I successfully crushed a 2-man team after my ally dropped in the first 30 seconds... My human army with huntress support (my ally had been night elves) tore through my human opponent, and then sieged my orc opponent to the ground. The human had built a small base - town hall and a farm - in the orcish town, but when I destroyed the whole of it, the game didn't end.

I spent the next 15 minutes chasing a SINGLE PEASANT around the map - he would start to build a farm, cancel construction, then run off and start another one. Partially built structures count as buildings that must be destroyed, so until I could get copters and hippogryphs, I had to run around 'cleaning up' after this idiot. When I finally found and killed the peasant, he had the nerve to type "gg." I responded "yeah, gg, ###hole."

Anyway, my circuitous point is this - it's a lamer tactic, but you're not going to say "peasants can't build farms!" because of it (granted, I had my own ideas for how to keep it from happening again, but whatever). There will always be ways to exploit the system.

The best way to combat that kind of tactic is for server admins to raise the vote percentage required. 1.02 raised it from 30% to 40% by default, and from 2 to 3 votes minimum. It makes it a bit harder to llama out the commander. As is, recycling is a very useful tactic for regaining RPs if you're running low.

I still haven't seen anyone getting ejected for being a good commander. I hear that on the WC3 lamers Coil. I'm not sure how bad it is now (I dont play random 2v2 anymore, only 1v1 or AT) but when the game first came out you had people who just made accounts to join 2v2 games and then drop out. Lamers will always be around, the best you can do is just ignore them. They think they're so funny, and they cant wait to be flamed because then they know they **obscenity** you off. If you dont pay any attention to them and have an I dont care attitude about what he does he'll prolly get iritated himself for not getting a reaction out of you (I've seen this happen when some person starts acting all lame, hoping to **obscenity** ppl off and when nobody cared he got **obscenity** himself =p).
