How do I redeem the bonus preorder copy?

First of all, thanks to the devs all around for being so nice and giving away free copies of the game after the price change :). Really makes me want to say good things to everyone about NS2.

That being said, how do I go about redeeming this extra copy of NS2? There is no NS2 in my steam inventory. In fact, I don't even have a "Natural Selection 2" in my library list (if I go to the steam store page it says I already own it, but it doesn't show up in my Community Games list either). I do however have a "Natural Selection 2 Beta" in my library.

Will it take a few days for the gifts to be sent out or am I just experiencing some kind of unique problem?

It will take a few days, but you will get it before the actual game is released

I feel bad, my girlfriend pre-ordered her copy earlier today on steam excited to play ns2 because I told her the pre-order was up on steam and then I found out I'll be getting a gift copy. Oh well it's nice that we were able to give back to the developers more, I'll have to bestow the gift of my extra copy to another worthy friend or family member.
