<div class="IPBDescription">is it possible?</div>Hi everybody :) I was wondering if it is possible to connect and use a controller to my laptop to play?

Admittedly, I never tried. As far as I'm aware, NS2 currently has no gamepad support. You could try it though. Some gamepad software can emulate mouse/keyboard to provide the same effect.
Since I'm not behind my PC right now I can't say for sure, but expect a no.
Yeah i have tried it with a Xbox controller and it didn't work, I was going to buy a USB game pad to see if that works, Admittedly using a keyboard and mouse is a better option but on my laptop its really uncomfortable.

Yeah JoyToKey is still a good choice (used it as far back as BF1942 for flying and looking around :) )
The thing is though... Spark/NS2 doesn't have aim assist, is very fast paced in close quarter combat and also doesn't have mouse movement smoothing (constant speed). So it would be quite hard to keep up with a gamepad...
