Gorge spit

<div class="IPBDescription">Visual</div>Does anyone else find the fountain of green goo that comes out of your mouth when you spit as gorge to be terribly disruptive aiming since it blocks sight of your projectile? I cant track my projectile at all and that makes it very difficult to aim it, especially at moving targets.

And while we are talking, any progress on fixing that weapon jam bug marines get? Very annoying to realize in the middle of a firefight that you have been issued with the ross rifle mark 2, not to mention deadly.

The spit projectile doesnt show for yourself at all, which is extremely retarded.

The problem is that projectiles feel a little laggy and do no seem to actually come out of your gun (same for GL) when you walk sideways. The viewmodel-spit-animation looks like a try to make that look better. I have the same problems with that, it blocks your view. But you won't hit better without that, because of the projectile lag :D

The projectile used to be fine and visible before the new green goo effect on the gorge's mouth.

Really annoying when I'm gorging, hope this gets fixed soon.

Another note, it's also annoying that it's in a fixed position, so when you move it moves with you, even when spitting while standing still then moving.

Srsly? The spit moves relative to your position while it is flying? Strafing moves the flying spit?

That seems really ridiculous, but would explain why I seem to miss every shot on a marine unless they're standing perfectly still.
