Tons of console errors in B217

Attempting to do a quick join resulted in my game freezing up for a solid 5 minutes at a black screen. I could open the console and saw nothing but the following spam, pages and pages.

Eventually dropped me back to the menu.

%appdata%\Natural Selection 2\cache

Empty that folder, do not remove the folder itself though. This should work...

you can ignore them. those messages appear when you cache a shader and are just warnings, you see it only the first time when launching the game after a new patch.

edit: regarding dropping to main menu, you try what kouji wrote

also there are some players experiencing loading issues, that may or may not require reloading the game... totally worth the efforts though
